Went to the second and final part of the "pillow with custom cording" class at
City Craft last night. It was lots of fun and I learned so much...plenty of helpful little hints that will make all future sewing projects go more smoothly. Anyhow, here's the end result:
Not too bad, eh? Gotta love that $7 per yard IKEA fabric!
I'd love to make a long bolster for this spot...could be my next project.
Look how invisible my zipper is...oh wait, you can't even see it, can you?

ReplyDeleteI'm impressed :) I once made a pillow with cording after buying a sewing machine, sewing supplies and paying for a 5-week sewing class. My husband likes to call it my $500 pillow! Unfortunately, I never made another one. . . .
