As you'll see from the photos below, I'm very excited about this gorgeous new accessory and am having a hard time deciding on the perfect place to use it. Per the usual, I've taken it all around the house and tried it in a variety of scenarios.
Here is the box in which my throw arrived. I am a sucker for pretty packaging and I LOVE the black and white striped grosgrain ribbon! After seeing how beautifully it was wrapped, I immediately thought about how a COCOCOZY throw would make a wonderful wedding or housewarming gift.
The throw is the prettiest shade of grey and it looks fantastic with the ivory background.
I tried it on both of the sofas in the living room. I like it here, but it covers up the tufting which is the only redeeming quality of this budget sofa.
I like it on the linen sofa too...
The throw is reversible so here I flipped it so the logo is grey and the background is ivory.
I like how the pattern plays nicely with the rug in your bedroom, but if you'll use it more often in a living room then it should probably live in there.
ReplyDeleteI want one but don't trust that I could keep it free of dog hair... sigh.
This is a gorgeous throw - I love the patterns and the colors! I have a pillow obsession and should add a fun throw to the mix.
ReplyDeleteLovely blog - so glad I came across it! Following you now.
Have a lovely week!

ReplyDeleteIt's really beautiful. I love the way it mixes with your great assortment of patterns throughout your home.
ReplyDeleteI think I like it most on the chair from Horchow. But hey, it looks great wherever you decided to place it.

ReplyDeleteGREAT throw. Really love the color and the pattern.
ReplyDeleteLove how versatile the throw is!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind me asking, what color is the gray on your bedroom walls? It is so pretty. I'm in the market for a true gray. The one I used in my bedroom has gross blue/purple undertones.

I am SO jealous; that is my favorite item from their shop! The last option, where it's covering the seat cushions, is my favorite. By the way, where did you get that couch? It looks so comfy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous throw, it look great in all the places you put it.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteI like it on the sofa best! It's gorgeous. Ivory and gray are my fave neutral combo.
ReplyDeleteDoes your husband think you're cray-cray?
ReplyDeleteLooks best in your guest bedroom.
Andrea E - Luckily I work out of my house and my husband doesn't, so he doesn't witness most of the madness! Also, he typically doesn't notice the small changes unless it's something pretty major.
ReplyDeleteLovely Little Nest - the couch is from Macy's (if you're referring to the last one pictured. I got it because it was about $500-600 and I knew it wouldn't get used much since it was slated to be put in the formal living room. It is comfy, however, the quality isn't outstanding (but the quality is right in line with the price).
ReplyDelete@jonalynn- have a look at this post for paint colors!

I like it best on your master bedroom bench, but if you're anything like me, it will manage to make the rounds in your lovely home...
ReplyDeleteIt's the kind of accessory that really makes itself at home anywhere, and is actually useful. Perfect!
It looks beautiful anywhere...I loved seeing how you moved it around so I could see your lovely home!
ReplyDeleteyour home is SO stylish!!! love the throw....I think it looks best in the living room on the sofa, even if it covers the tufts
ReplyDelete@Meaghan: Thanks for the heads up. I'm new to the blog and appreciate your pointing me in the right direction! :)

Lovely! Where did you get the mirrored side tables please?
ReplyDelete...An Eye Makeup - the table was bought on clearance a few years ago at Pier 1. So sorry I can't provide a useable source!
ReplyDeleteI must know where you found the gorgeous throw pillows in the photo above the master bedroom photo?! Your house is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home and blog! Can you tell me what that last sofa is? Is it the RH Belgian Classic slope arm sofa without the back cushions?
