Masters of Design: Rees Roberts + Partners

I'm still in the process of choosing a decking material for our pool. Since I don't deal with this sort of area very often, I'm not well-versed on what my options are (or how much everything costs). To help articulate my preferences to the pool contractor, I've been trying to find photos of what I like and have thus been cruising lots of landscape architect's sites.

During this process, I found my way to the site of revered design firm Rees Roberts + Partners and had a ball plowing through their entire portfolio. I literally looked though every interior and landscape project in their portfolio. Not only is their work absolutely top notch (you've probably seen it before in AD, Elle Decor, etc.), the photography is stunning and the images are huge (which I LOVE). You really must take a look...you'll find plenty of super smart, fresh, beautiful design. RR+P, along with sister firm Steven Harris Architects, has designed some truly astounding properties and they are all over the globe. Trust me when I tell you that the following sampling is only the tip of the iceberg...

Not a back lineup of real estate, eh? You'll get a better sense of how incredible each property is when you look through each project's portfolio in its entirety. Until then, do you have any favorites so far?

And  if you can't get enough of their work, then pick up a copy of their book True Life

  3. WOW. Thank you for the introduction to their work!! I'm dying over the Montague Terrace design. It's exactly how I envision my dream home -- a city townhouse with lots of old charm, but beautifully modernized. It's perfect.

  4. Thanks for this as I now have several images for future blog posts. These interiors totally inspire me. I love the windows and the photograph of the home's levels as well as the living room/dining. Frankly though, I love them all.
