Via Style at Home, Photo by Donna Griffith |
This first photo is from Style at Home and the feature is all about Winter Whites, so the home is styled with that theme in mind. As I've mentioned before, white is among my favorite colors, so that way is my personal pick. In the following shots, there's not as much contrast going on.
Colleen heads up McGill Design Group and as you'll gather from the portfolio shots below, she is quite a talent. She is clearly willing and able to execute a wide variety of styles. Despite the variance in styles, all of McGill's projects impart the same smart, luxurious feeling. There are so many moves and methods to admire, but I am especially impressed with the outstanding millwork and thoughtful cabinetry used throughout her projects. She obviously has a strong appreciation for architectural details and completely understands how they can be implemented to elevate a room.

Hope you've enjoyed the tour of my favorite rooms from Colleen's portfolio! Head over to the McGill Design Group site to see the whole gamut. Lots of great inspiration for those who love neutral palettes.
Did you have any favorite rooms or elements? If so, do tell. After seeing her work, I'm completely convinced that I need more oversized, full-length mirrors in my house...at minimum, I want one in our entry.
Have a great weekend!
FABULOUS!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the chandeliers used in the entryway and in the 1st bedroom. Any ideas where those are from?
ReplyDeletei will say the first one is definitely my favorite. the whole concept of the black and white, and simple style is great. Definitely an oversized mirror....love her work, will check it out. xo
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I definitely like the first image of the entry best. The high contrast is what makes it. Of course, I'm noticing all of the Visual Comfort/Circa Lighting in the various rooms. :)Her work is beautiful!
ReplyDeletei could live in that entry way! stunning, all of it!
ReplyDeleteHer work is beyond stunning....
ReplyDeleteI love the white walls, paneling, contrast, and all the sparkle. So elegant.
ReplyDeleteTotally with you - just love her work (and will mosey over there next). Adore her clean, elegant tailored style. I am obsessed with millwork and architectural details so her work is right up my alley. I love everything but I would have to say my favorite shots are the bedroom with the spectacular built ins, the mahogany powder room, the detail of the kitchen cabinetry right below it and the beautifully detailed hallway with parquet floors and dark double doors. Thank you for the wonderful introduction!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if I could live with all the white? It's a fabulous place just the same.
ReplyDeleteI am with Christina! I die for those light fixtures in the entryway and the bedroom...DO TELL! Where can we find those??
