Big Week

As usual, I needed one more weekend day to prep for a busy week. Lots of to-do list items to tackle and tomorrow I have jury duty which is a major downer. I'm happy to fulfill my civic obligations, but come on - I've been called three times in the past 5 years! Oh well, enough of the whining...things could be a lot worse.

On the home front, I got the middle bedroom painted last week but the crown molding isn't up yet. I had to lighten the color just a tad, but I'm really happy with it now. Here's a sneak peek to tide you over until the full room shots are available.

Also, I'm happy to announce that today is my first day as a HomeGoods Openhouse blogger! The above pic is featured on my post today since the curvy pedestal table is from HG. As a thank-you gift for coming on board, HomeGoods sent the bouquet of pretty calla lilies on the table...it's always so nice to be surprised with flowers. Anyhow, please go check it out and comment away :)

Finally, I'm way behind on responding to blog comments and emails, so you'll have to bear with me. A few have actually sparked post ideas, so hopefully I'll get those up and your questions will be answered sooner rather than later. To give you an idea of what's to come, I'm prepping a response/post on quality sofa sources. I love upholstered furniture, so get ready, it will be very thorough!
