With only the digital representation to go from, I desperately hoped that the size of the repeat and the colors would work well in the room. Without a clear visualization of the finished product and because the order was placed months ago, I was starting to get anxious about whether or not I'd like it. Thank goodness, the colors are perfect and the pattern is fabulous...it's also really soft, which is a nice change of pace from the sisal that was in the room before.
Here's the digital version from the JA website...
Rug Specs:
Size: 11' x 13'

Base Color: natural

Looks fantastic! The perfect addition and layer to the space. :) Erica
ReplyDeleteEmily, the lamp and the orange shade are both made by Jamie Young. Unfortunately they stopped making the lamp because the cloisonne was too difficult to produce. You could still get the orange shade though...I bought mine at Layla Grace when they were having a 20% off sale.
ReplyDeleteMegan, it is SUCH a relief that I love it!! My anxiety was getting out of hand, especially since it's not something that can be returned or sold very easily. I hate having to order things sight-unseen because I'm so visual...luckily it all worked out :)

ReplyDeleteThat JA rug is absolutely beautiful! I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. What kind of window coverings would go with such a design? It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.
