Beauty Bag Revealed on Wallpaper Blog

Just wanted to thank Liz, author of Wallpaper blog for asking me to participate in her Beauty Bag series! Mine is featured today in case you want to check it out. I'm sure some of my best friends are cracking up at this because I'm not a make-up/product maven by any stretch of the imagination. Despite my lack of knowledge in the field, it was a fun post to write and it definitely made me want to take a trip to Sephora and revive my toolkit. Until then...this is what I'm working with:

You can get all of the gory details on WALLPAPER :)

Do you have any product recommendations to share? I'm always looking for tips!

  2. Just read your post. I'm OBSESSED with Nars Orgasm! Always embarrassed when people ask me what color I have on, though :)

Since you asked, Lancome Hypnose with the primer, Chanel Glossimer, Bare Escentuals brow color and Flawless Radiance highlighter, and Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat are worth a looksy ;)

  4. OPI Nail Envy is the ultimate clear polish - it super thick and shiny and makes it look like your nails are fake without resorting to acrylic. I also love MAC paint pots - kind of a solid eyeshadow you can apply with your finger in the parking garage at work.

P.S. I just came across this and thought of you Ok, so I just found this and thought of your house: http://www.chicshelfpaper.com/shelf-paper/recently-added/greek-spiral--navy-blue-4906.asp

  8. I'm stoked that you use Psssssst. I have used it for years and enjoy trying to explain its name. I'm always surprised by the number of people who don't use dry shampoo. Oscar Blandi's dry shampoos are pretty good. I did a review of them in December. (http://thelovelylifestyle.wordpress.com/2009/12/30/war-paint-wednesday-dry-shampoo/) The powder version is easier to travel with and they recently came out with a clear, spray which I like too. If you use a heavy hand with Pssssst sometimes you can "gray out" your roots and the clear spray limits that.
