Thanks SO much to everyone who participated!
It was great hearing about your HomeGoods purchases...you all seem as excited as I am about the store and the fabulous items they carry. I wish I had gift cards for everyone! Hopefully we'll have another one soon :)
Here's my latest < $10 HG purchase...it may not be the prettiest thing I've bought there, but this step stool will be used quite often. For years now, I've been treacherously (aka stupidly) climbing all over countertops and using chairs to reach items on the highest shelves. Not anymore!
I love that it's very sturdy but folds up to such a slim/tiny size for storing.
Hey Kyle! It was great to see you guys on Saturday...love your blog by the way! I recently started one myself and I noticed we have a lot of the same furniture and accessories! :-) Gotta love Home Goods! Congrats to the lucky winner!

Ooh it's cute! Now I need to go back to Home Goods {was just there on Saturday} and see if we have any. I basically need a catapult in order to reach anything on the top shelf of our closet...this would be a nice alternative :)
ReplyDeleteI so need that stool in my kitchen too. Your blog is one of my new daily reads. I really look forward to seeing what you've got to share each day.
ReplyDeleteHi There Kyle,
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog today googling some drum shade pendant images and fell in love with your home (we actually live just north of your in Frisco!). I am especially curious about the paint color on the walls in your living/kitchen area. Do you know the name/brand? Is it the same as the color in the bedrooms (bedrooms appear darker but don't know if that is the lighting or not)? Thanks,
Christie
Emily - it was good to see you too! Sorry we didn't make it back...we were pulled in a few directions that day. Anyhow, now I'm off to check out your blog!
ReplyDeleteLovely Little Nest - I'm glad you understand the acrobatics involved in getting things off of high shelves :) Hope you find one of the little stools...I think it has added a few years onto my life expectancy!
ReplyDeleteMegan - We all need a little step stool in our lives! Thanks so much for the blog compliments :)
ReplyDeleteWhere are those canisters from?
ReplyDeleteAnon - the canisters are from Williams-Sonoma. The set was one of my favorite wedding gifts we received!
