In case you're having a hard time imagining pink lamps in your home, here's a board to show you how they might look in a bedroom. For me, the key to using pink is balancing it with some masculine elements and darker colors to counteract the girly effect that it can have. In this space, the Camille gourd lamps are used with lots of grays and blues.

What do you think of the board? And what are your thoughts on Mottega's Hope Collection? Would you use either of the pink lamps in your house?
And by the way, did you notice that those euro shams are from the Jennifer Lopez collection for Kohl's?!? I'm curious enough about the quality to go see them in person...luckily there's a Kohl's near the Target that I go to. Have any of you seen J Lo's bedding?
Gorgeous board! I love the headboard and the pink Mottega lamps look awesome :)

ReplyDeleteLove how you put everything together! Beautiful!
ReplyDeletelove this post and I seriously havent gotten the image of that GORGEOUS jcrew inspired inspiration board you posted the other day--just such fantastic inspirational posts lately!
ReplyDeleteThis board is stunning. Seriously gorgeous. The headboard makes me think "peacock" which I love. You have pulled a perfect eclectic palette together that totally works with those pink lamps which I wouldn't be as drawn to on their own. And you are so right--I have got to go check out those shams at Kohls too--I'll be curious how the quality is, especially for the price.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this board! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteReally nice board. I do love the mirrors behind the lamps and that chandy of course. J Lo at Kohls, might have to go take a look too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Kyle, for featuring our Camille lamps!! We are so proud to be involved with the Komen cause and hearing talented designers and bloggers like yourself spread the word makes us even happier!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, this board really is beautiful!! The choice of more "masculine" and muted colors is the perfect compliment to the brighter pink lamps.
you make the most amazing inspiration boards...what software do you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Damon
What an amazing room! My favorite things are the linens on the bed and the seat at the end! So classic and good so you can change around all the accessories to go with your current design frenzy!
ReplyDeleteWow I love this room! What program do you use to make your boards? Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteDamonc and Between the Boxwoods - I use Photoshop for the boards :)
