Travel Dreams: Mandarin Oriental Paris

Wow oh wow, Mandarin Oriental opened a hotel in Paris this year and it's a jaw-dropper. I thought the Meurice had some crazy good views from their suites, but the Mandarin Oriental Paris is giving them a run for their money. This place is loaded with amazing private terraces and lush outdoor spaces. Besides being beautiful on the inside and out, the posh hotel has an unbeatable location on the famed Rue Saint-Honoré and is in close walking distance to humble shops like Chanel, Lanvin, and Hermès. Sigh...

Random...but I love the ombre effect created with the hex tiles here...

Yet another killer view...

I'm very jealous of the guests staying at this hotel! One night in a rooftop suite probably costs more than my car is worth so it's not likely that I will soon be a patron of the Mandarin Oriental Paris. Pretty spectacular though, isn't it?

  1. I have to agree a fabulous hotel. I love the installation 'art' (for lack of a better word) in the resturant. Stunning. Happy Friday.

  3. The Mandarin Oriental is the Shang-rila in Paris if not the whole Europe. Beautiful!

  4. This is crazy! I was in Paris during the summer of 2010, staying right off the Rue St. Honore, and construction was well underway for the Mandarin. I remember wondering what it would look like. It's exciting to see the final result -- absolutely beautiful.
