Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had some good times with family and friends celebrating Christmas and the 2013. During the break, I gave myself a little digital detox and while that is always refreshing, it's nice to be back at work and plugged in again.

I'm a huge fan of GiGi and Graphic Image, GiGi's "sister" company. I'm a big believer in Graphic Image's Desk Diary. For a long time I tried to be purely digital and use my phone/computer calendar for scheduling, but I've found that a good old-fashioned paper planner works better. It seriously curbs my habit of writing lists and measurements on random scraps of paper!

I broke open my gorgeous new Desk Diary last week. I picked a limited edition Winter Mint color and I'm obsessed with it...

GI always has the best colors and textures to choose from. If the blue wasn't a limited edition, I was going to order the Tie-Dye in Navy. Isn't it fun? I'd love to get my hands on some of the tie-dyed leather for an upholstery project!

Are you a traditional paper calendar person too? I love the feeling of starting a fresh planner...the new year seems like such a blank slate! Cheers to 2013 :)

GiGi's Lively Lime

Guess what? GiGi New York just added a lime color to the set of limited edition Uber Clutches and I'm lovin' it. Lime is a really versatile color and it makes for a perfect accent in fashion and home decor. Though it's actually a very ubiquitous, natural color (think plants, leaves, etc.), lime green can bring a fresh, unexpected, zesty vibe to a room or outfit.
