Now These Are Facebook Photos I Want to See!

Lucky for us, Jan Showers uploaded some new shots of the 2011 Jan Showers Collection on her Facebook page. I was delighted to see the post in my feed and I clicked right through to check out the goods (by the way, if you haven't "Liked" Jan Showers on FB yet, you should). Not surprisingly, everything is gorgeous. Per the usual, the overall aesthetic is timeless and elegant. Here is a sampling...

Also from the JS Collection, here is the Mercer Bench as seen in Jennifer Lopez's house which was recently featured in Veranda. There is just something weird about J. Lo and Veranda even being in the same sentence!

After browsing Jan's JSC 2011 album on Facebook, I checked out the contents of her other albums and was thrilled to discover lots of great shots from her portfolio. As mentioned before, I just love the spaces she creates.

Oh and her lamps...I LOVE her exquisite lamps, especially the colored ones.

I'm considering a canopy treatment similar to this in my master bedroom. The ceilings in our ranch house aren't nearly as dramatic as these, however, so the effect might be lost.

New Website for the Fabulous Jan Showers!

I oogled over the work of fellow Dallasite, Jan Showers, a few months ago and I'm going to do it again to celebrate the launch of her freshened website! As you can see via the sampling below from the JSA portfolio, the site is a feast for the eyes.

Not only full of Jan's beautifully executed design projects, the new site now includes her exquisite collection of furniture and home decor. If you don't have a showroom nearby to see the collection in person, the site does an excellent job of showing off the goods. It's all so stunning, but if I were lucky enough to bring home a few items, these would surely make my list...

Swanky Penthouse

Thought I would share some photos of a penthouse at the W here in Dallas. These were published in D Home and Jan Showers is the mastermind behind the interior design. I love the fresh color palette she used in the space and I also think she mixed traditional and modern such a clever way. Her work is always so timeless and elegant...

The piano and the antique mirror add some much needed warmth to the room. The piano is absolutely beautiful!

I love those dining chairs...striped fabric on the backs is so charming and fun.

Pretty bedroom, although I hope whoever sleeps here likes to wake up at the crack of dawn with those windows! The bench with the lucite legs is one of my favorite pieces.

Another awesome bedroom....it's quite the foil to the one above with those black walls.
