I love Homegoods! I have made so many purchases there in the last few years that I really have no idea what I would mark as my favorite. So many times you can find, at reduced prices, the very things or similar things to some of the higher priced stores (Pottery Barn, etc). I'm in the process of remodeling a home right now so there are sooo many things I would be looking for to get each room "just right" Yoderhome@juno.com thank you!
ReplyDeleteWe picked up a great rug for our bedroom at HomeGoods and everyone thinks it's from Anthropologie—I don't always correct them.
ReplyDeleteschmandrea14@yahoo.com
Yum, love those little glass jars you scooped up! I've been looking for something in that style, would love to fill them with some moss to add a little pinch of green in our bathroom.
ReplyDeleteI LUV Home Goods, (thankfully DH doesn't mind tredging behind me as I scout out the aisles.) Fav purchase from them? I would have to say it would be nickel and leather candlestick lamps with cream linen shades.
They're simply timeless and seem to go with whatever style I'm attempting at the moment. But I do have other favs from Home Goods. I love to pick up art, mirrors and throw rugs in there. And of course the toss pillow isle is not to be missed.
I enjoyed your post about the shopping spree as well. I actually get a kick out of seeing delicious finds others pick up there!
Half of my house is decorated with Home Goods purchases. I love everything there! I think my favorite purchases are my art deco style end tables that are made of metal and mirror. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to narrow down one favorite HomeGoods find! I would have to say maybe the Mirror in our main bathroom. For $20 it made a HUGE difference in updating the style from builder basic!
ReplyDeleteCrap, forgot my email address! mangelsja@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for just a few weeks now and am so happy to have discovered it! There is a HomeGoods in the town next to me and I never make it there, though I always covet the great finds! maybe a gift certificate will finally get me there!

I LOVE HG! Sometimes I go there just to browse for fun. My favorite purchase was an over-sized art piece with an incredibly gorgeous frame and it was on the clearance rack. I ripped out the ugly piece of art inside and inserted one of my own paintings. It was a great deal and now one of my paintings is being displayed in a beautiful frame. amanda.reimann@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteGoodie! I love HomeGoods! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI just love Homegoods! Thankfully there is one close to me so I can go often. I don't know if I could pinpoint just one favorite purchase. I do get all of my lamps from there. They have awesome lamps at great prices.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog too!
sarafdodson@yahoo.com
I've heard such great things about HomeGoods but havent made the trek to one in a nearby area. I would love to get some decorative glasses/vases or maybe an art piece for my new apartment.

ReplyDeleteI love homegoods! Their accessories are awesome!
ReplyDeleteHomegoods is my favorite store - I'm currently wanting a big silver urn to put on my new console table and a set of lamps similar to the ones behing your couch. A gift card would help!
ReplyDeletecardiganjunkie@gmail.com
Sheesh - picking a favorite item from HomeGoods is like picking a favorite child. Ugh - mine is probably either a wooden bowl that I got (one of those that look like a hollowed out, polished tree trunk), or a giant Buddha statue. Their lamp selection makes me pee my pants. I have what you might call a "bit of a lamp fetish."
ReplyDeleteCrossing fingers for the win....

HomeGoods is the best! We don't have one here in Annapolis, MD, but I make monthly trips to the nearby stores to scout out their amazing deals. They are the absolute best for lamps - I'm obsessed with my blue gourd lamp that I scored there for a song! This gift card would help me snag a pillow and some accessories to go with it. Thanks for the chance! rferrara AT gmail DOT com

ReplyDeleteHome Goods is my all time FAV store! The deals just simply can't be beat! Fingers crossed. :)

ReplyDeleteI love Home Goods! Great price and tons of products, can't wait to shop!

ReplyDeleteI make at least a weekly trip to homegoods! I need some art work for my guest bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI love to find desinger linens at Homegoods.
ReplyDeleteI have 3 Homegoods in Columbus, OH and I go to all of them at least once a week!! I recently purchased two mirrors (one looks a LOT like the Pottery Barn Eagan mirror) and two silver pedestal tables. I also saw the pedestal table you have, only in black, and I'm thinking about picking it up tonight!!!
ReplyDeleteMy most recent HomeGoods find was a small earthenware pear for less than 10 bucks; it looks perfectly at home with my 2 Ballard Design medium and large pears that cost 35.00 & 49.00 respectively. My next hunting expedition at HG is for a ‘copycat’ super luxe bath mat like the ones at Restoration Hardware.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I love to mix high end items with fabulous low cost finds and where better to find them than HomeGoods?
I love the lamps and lampshades at Home Goods! And if that giftcard reaches me, I'll be buying a new lamp for our entry way.

ReplyDeleteLove the blog!
I've been searching for two table lamps for a while now and I've always had good luck finding some at HomeGoods but it seems my local store is on a dry spell lately. Maybe the $25 gift card would make some lamps magically appear!
ReplyDeleteSo excited about a HomeGoods store opening in October near me. I have never lived close enough to shop there, so I can't wait to check it out in person. I love everything you have found there- especially the pair of blue lamps. Love your blog! aanort@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteI can't say enough about the big HG - I've bought so many great things there, but probably my favorite was actually my sister's purchase of a pair of lamps that I helped her pick out. They're the perfect substitute for high-end blanc de chine, and they turned out perfect for her room!
ReplyDeleteatexski@yahoo(dot)com
There are no Homegood stores in our area. However, if I am lucky enough to win (Yipee!!), I will drive to my daughter's house 3 hours away for a visit, and we can go together for my first trip to Homegoods! I am so anxious to see all the beautiful, neat items they sell.

Homegoods is probably my most favorite store....and that is dangerous because it is in walking distance from our house. It may or may not have had an influence on our home buying decision. As far as my favorite purchase, it is difficult to choose just one. But I think I would have to go with my "lamp collection" from there.
ReplyDeleteI just found out that there is a HomeGoods 40 minutes from my house (!!!). We just got hardwood floors, so I am in major redecorating mode. I would love a gift card to help accessorize our living room!
ReplyDelete(email: kettner.ra@comcast.net)
My latest favorite HG purchase (which is at least a twice a month occurence), is a pair of 'twisted stick' candlesticks. They're like the pedestal from SL@H's (twisty-like), but they are candlesticks. Probably doesn't make sense unless you see them, but they are cool!
ReplyDeleteI only recently discovered HomeGoods when I was on the hunt for kitchen gadgets. I think my favorite purchase so far is a Spirulini gadget that I use to make zucchini noodles. I saw it for $40 elsewhere, but got it for $15 at HomeGoods!
ReplyDeletesusan (at) cravingthesavings (dot) com

I love browsing in there- it's right by my gym, so why not?? I've gotten a great lamp, lacquer box and decorative glass jars recently.
ReplyDeleteI love Home Goods because they have quality home furnishings and decor for a fraction of the cost of major retailers. Every time I visit I feel like I am on a treasure hunt and am never disappointed with the product selections.
