HomeGoods Gift Card Giveaway

I'm excited to have a HomeGoods $25 gift card up for grabs today! After getting tons of enthusiastic comments and emails about my last HG shopping spree, I know that many of you are itching to hit up your local store and a gift card would make the trip even better, right?

Twenty-five bucks goes a long way at a HomeGoods store...for example, I got both of the below glass candy/cookie jars for $6.99 a piece.

To enter the giveaway, submit a comment below, and be sure to include your email address if it's not available through your profile!

As far as your comment goes, I'd love to hear about your favorite HomeGoods purchase, why you like to shop there, and/or what you're looking for on your next trip.

The deadline to enter is this Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:59 pm (CST).
Any entries received after this time will not be considered. Open to US residents only. Winner will be chosen using random.org and will be announced on 10/4/2010.

Good luck!

  1. I go to the HG in San Antonio every time that I visit there, which is often. I just wish there was one here in Austin.

  6. I love Homegoods! I have made so many purchases there in the last few years that I really have no idea what I would mark as my favorite. So many times you can find, at reduced prices, the very things or similar things to some of the higher priced stores (Pottery Barn, etc). I'm in the process of remodeling a home right now so there are sooo many things I would be looking for to get each room "just right" Yoderhome@juno.com thank you!

  8. Yum, love those little glass jars you scooped up! I've been looking for something in that style, would love to fill them with some moss to add a little pinch of green in our bathroom.
I LUV Home Goods, (thankfully DH doesn't mind tredging behind me as I scout out the aisles.) Fav purchase from them? I would have to say it would be nickel and leather candlestick lamps with cream linen shades.
They're simply timeless and seem to go with whatever style I'm attempting at the moment. But I do have other favs from Home Goods. I love to pick up art, mirrors and throw rugs in there. And of course the toss pillow isle is not to be missed.
I enjoyed your post about the shopping spree as well. I actually get a kick out of seeing delicious finds others pick up there!

  38. Sheesh - picking a favorite item from HomeGoods is like picking a favorite child. Ugh - mine is probably either a wooden bowl that I got (one of those that look like a hollowed out, polished tree trunk), or a giant Buddha statue. Their lamp selection makes me pee my pants. I have what you might call a "bit of a lamp fetish."
