As you can see from the above pics and also on my Openhouse post, I ghetto-rigged an "arrangement" with some green filler from the yard and then tried it in a few different rooms. Since the vessel is so large, I started thinking that it could make for a cool accent table. Luckily, one of my side tables has a removable marble insert, so I used that for the top.
Here it is in the guest bedroom...
and then in the living room...
I probably won't use it as a table since I really don't need an accent table, but I like the idea since the color and shape are so fun. What do you think?
Kyle, you are SO creative!!!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest, my favorite thing about this post is that we get to see more of your house! I love the way you decorate. And the vase-table? Awesome.
ReplyDeleteEarl Grey - a little blog full of big inspiration.
Oh wow, that vase looks great as an accent table! I love the orange-red color and unique shape of it!
ReplyDeleteThese looks great. I like the accent table and the vase on the coffee table. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI like the vase in the dining room on the buffet! Looks beautiful in the mirror and commands attention.
ReplyDeleteReally cute! I love the different uses. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous vibrant vase honey...I love it best near your Entry along side your sofa...or in-between the two lamps on your sideboard...its far to gorgeous to be tucked away in another room. Love it x
ReplyDeleteThis looks really great in all configurations.
ReplyDeleteI think it works particularly well as a side table in the guest room as an added pop of orange.
BTW, your house always looks so great!
Cheers, Alcira

Elise - I so wish that I could point you in the right direction on the fireplace screen...unfortunately, it was a vintage find from Ebay. If I ever see a similar style, I'll definitely post about i!
ReplyDeleteKyle, do you offer edecorating services?
ReplyDeleteElise - I do offer e-decorating services. Just shoot me an email and we can discuss further. kylestandeferknight at gmail.com
ReplyDeleteUsing it as a table is brilliant!
ReplyDeletelove it in front of the mirror!
ReplyDeleteI love the rug in the living room (looks like black and white?). Where can I find it or something similar?
ReplyDeleteRobin, I think the one you are referring to is the one in front of the fireplace that has a Moroccan motif. It's actually black and tan. I bought mine from One Kings Lane, but
ReplyDeleteHome Decorators has them in stock now.
OMG I wanted that vase but I didn't get it when I first saw it then they were all gone!!
ReplyDeleteI love you mirror in your living room. Where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteI love the mirror in the living room. Can you tell me where did you buy it?
ReplyDeleteAnon - which mirror are you referring to? If it's the one by the fireplace, it's from Z Gallerie.
ReplyDeleteThe one in the other side.top of the macy's sofa
ReplyDeleteAh...the sunburst one. I actually made that! I found a set of convex mirrors at Target for $10 and decided to try making my own since the ones I'd been looking at were so expensive.
