They are designed by Jill Rosenwald, who is a very talented designer and artist. I have one of her ceramic bowls and I love everything on her Etsy shop. She is brilliant with colors and patterns, so it makes perfect sense that she would design gorgeous rugs. For a while now, she has been working with Surya to produce a line of rugs (which are very reasonably priced), and she's continuing to work with them on some new flat-woven designs. She offered a sneak peek of the soon-to-be-released rugs on her blog, In Flagrante. According to her blog, she just got the following images of the rugs from India...
I LOVE this colorway...you can see more on her blog.
This pattern is fabulous, very classic and chic, but still modern. It's the same as the one on the tray below.
I used this before in a bathroom mood board...I'm pretty obsessed with it.
Also from her Etsy shop, this would make a great gift.
Anyhow, I am really pumped about the new rugs and can't wait for them to come out! I'm thinking one might have to go in my breakfast room.
What do you think of them? If you had to pick a favorite set, would it be from Jill, DwellStudio, or Calypso Home?
Oh man, that's some serious rug porn - LOVE THEM!

Talking about rugs.I am looking for a runner for the stairs of my new home. Do you have any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting the pics of the Agra table at World Market. I had been looking for a classic solid wood pedestal table for ages! I ran out and got the last non-damaged one from a store across town. It looks gorgeous in my breakfast nook...I'll post pics when the new drapes go up! Love your blog!
